We propose you a unique vacation in Maramures, spending the winter holidays in the Vaser Valley. Capture the most beautiful images of the tourist and historical Maramures from a tourist train called Mocăniţa.

An excellent opportunity for those who want to experience the Vaser Valley in its winter “clothes”: a steam train will gently carry you from Vişeu to Paltin (km. 21.6)* through the wonderful landscape that unfolds before your eyes. All that remains is to have your cameras and camcorders ready, to capture the magic of winter and the beauty of wild and untouched places.

The steam train called Mocăniţa will be heated, and we have included túica, a small snack, and coffee in the price so that you can have the most pleasant trip possible.

The departure of the first steam train will be at 09:00 in closed and heated carriages.

The journey time with Mocăniţa is three hours one way, where there will be a break of about half an hour halfway through the route.

– 1 Ticket for the Mocăniţa Train Ride – a steam train with heated carriages;

– Train attendant and tour guide throughout the entire trip.

Upon request for organized groups, firms, companies, we can provide car transportation from your home town to Vişeu de Sus.

We can also create a personalized package that includes accommodation, meals, and a program for several days of vacation in Maramureş.

* We recommend that reservations be made in advance, at least 1 week before the proposed date for the trip with Mocănița.

Reservation Note: To reserve, fill out the reservation form, and the amount will be paid at least 2 days before the date of the excursion.

In the event of advance payment and cancellation of the reservation or if the package is not paid in full by the communicated date, the advance payment is lost in full and the reservation is canceled.

During peak season, payment for tickets is made in full by the due date mentioned on the proforma or fiscal document.

In the event that we will have to cancel the tourist package, following the establishment of an exceptional situation such as a state of emergency, the declaration of the tourist area in quarantine, other situations provided for by law related to the SARS-Covid-19 pandemic.

We guarantee the tourist that all amounts paid will be returned to him, with the caveat that a percentage of 5% will be retained, which represents the costs of bank commissions, taxes paid to various suppliers, partners, etc.
